Text widget dissapearance

  I had several text widgets on my blog, and suddenly they have all dissapeared! One of them contained an HTML code from another site and I won’t be able to get it again! I’d like to know why my text widgets dissapear, if can I get them back, and if I will be able to retrieve the HTML. Thanks.
