text widget doesn’t like html

  it says you can add html, but it really doesn’t like it.

  I’m trying to add a mail service, I even tried just hyperlinking an e-mail and it didn’t like that either

  bottom right lower corner. I’ve tried several services, same result shows html or missing info like address line. If I didn’t have so much time invested I would trash it and never look back, but what is the issue with WordPress? Even Google blogger is “3rd party” html friendly.

  Part of the html is being stripped out. Please paste what you are trying to post here. Put it between backticks (the key to the left of the 1 on your keyboard) so that we can see it. If the code contains iframes or forms or javascript, it will be stripped out, as those things are not allowed here due to security concerns.

  It’s a form and those aren’t allowed here for security reasons.
