Text widget error

  I am running WordPress 4.8. When I attempt to add a new Text widget, I can get to the point of saving the widget. But, once I do, I’m told that I have an ‘Invalid value.’ This seems to happen both when editing and trying to save just the widget title and just the widget body. But, existing Text widgets seem to be able to be updated as usual.

  I’m running into the same problem. It’s Jetpack. They’re working on an update that should be out later today or early tomorrow.

  Same problem here. Disabling Jetpack solves the problem.
