Text widget image’s disappearing!

I am trying to use the text widget to add advertisements on my sidebar, but whenever I check my site, the images i have (ads) are there for a second and then disappear! I made sure that the HTML I am using is allowed and I am not sure what the problem is…any help would be much appreciated!

This is the wordpress.com support forum and as we cannot have blogger initiated advertising on our free hosted wordpress.com blogs I assume you are referring to a blog that’s hosted elsewhere. If that’s the case then your question is about a self-hosted WordPress blog and you ought to be posting to WordPress.org forums for help with it.
