Text widget in feature area not showing

  I’m using the Pilcrow theme and the feature widget area is available in the theme. I’ve been trying to add some text into my blog’s feature area but it is not appearing. Please help.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The “featured widget area is only active if you have chosen either sidebar, sidebar, content or content, sidebar, sidebar at theme options. If you use a single sidebar, like you are, then the featured widget area is not active.
