Text widget in sidebar not working!

  I’m trying to put something into a text widget, so i click add to put the widget in. i click edit, and it dissapears! Has anyone else had this problem? PLEASE HELP!!

  Everyone who has Internet Explorer 7 has this problem. I have IE 7 and i cant edit text widgets either.

  i just found a solution
  first put a text on the bar
  next save changes
  then hit edit on text
  there
