Text Widget Issue

  Hello,
  I have a design blog on WordPress and sell my design on Society6 and they provide sellers with the code below to help sellers to promote on their blog. I tried to added the code in Text Widget and successfully saved. However the link led to Society6 page but not to my Society6 account page but only shows Page Not Found.
  Is WordPress blocking this kind of code? If not, anything wrong with the code?

  Hello

  According to this guide.. https://en.support.wordpress.com/code/

  If you wrote some code or pasted it in from another web site and then it disappeared after publishing the post, the code is likely being stripped out

  Thanks for reply. I guess WordPress rejects codes with java script.

  Yes, security would be a top priority at WordPress.com. Javascript has it’s vulnerabilities.
