Text Widget Links – Are they possible?

  Is it possible using html in a text widget, to add a link to a sub-blog?

  In this instance, I want to use the text widget to add a “Discussions” list of various sub-blogs. The <h3>Discussions</h3> works fine, but I can’t seem to make <link text=”Marketing” href=”http://ourthingforus.wordpress.com/blog/ /> work.

  I’ve looked at the html reference syntax and have tried various permutations.

  Does the text widget not support <link>?

  Try:

  <a href="URL">link text</a>

  It’s always worked for me.
