Text Widget Not Appearing in Blog
-
I’m trying to install Google Feed Burner on my blog. I had it working, but changed the theme to “2010” and all the widgets were removed automatically. I put them back, but the text widget in which I’d put the feed burner no longer showed up. I tried deleting it and then putting the code back in, but it didn’t change anything. Here’s the code Google gave me.
<img src=”http://www.feedburner.com/fb/images/pub/feed-icon32x32.png” alt=”” style=”border:0;” />Subscribe in a reader
I also changed the name of the blog, but unless I’m misunderstanding something, that shouldn’t make a difference. Only something’s making it not work. Any suggestions?
Thanks, Cindy

Oops! That code didn’t appear the way I expected it to. Let me try again:
a href=”http://feeds.feedburner.com/CindyInSouthDakota” title=”Subscribe to my feed” rel=”alternate”><img src=”http://www.feedburner.com/fb/images/pub/feed-icon32x32.png” alt=”” style=”border:0;” />Subscribe in a reader</a
I eliminated the first and last brackets. Maybe that will make it show up here as text?

The best way to post code in this forum is to wrap it in code tags. Is this the code Google gave you?

Hey, Nicole–Thanks–but no, that’s not the code. It came through in my second post, except that the beginning < should be right before the “a href=”, and the ending > should be right after “Subscribe in a reader</a”.
So does anyone know why this wouldn’t work in 1040 when it worked in my previous theme format?
Thanks!
