Text widget not saved

  Hi,

  I have just sent this to the support, and was wondering if other people are having the same problem:

  My blog is http://blog.tepapa.govt.nz. We want to add new text widgets to it.

  The theme we use is sandbox with a big stylesheet on top of it.

  I have been doing that on our test blog, and have been successful there. However, when trying it on the production one, I really didn’t manage to make it work.

  I am working in Chrome, and I have also tried in Firefox (going through 2 different proxies).

  Behaviour:

  • I drag the text widget to the sidebar
  • The widget appears, and it already has content in it (the content I want, I’ve been trying this about 20 times by now)
  • I save it
  • I refresh my blog in another browser
  • The widget doesn’t appear
  • I refresh the Widget page in the dashboard, and the text widget has disappeared from the sidebar.

  I will also post it on the forums to see if someone else had the problem. I haven’t found any other post about that so far.

  Here is the code I’m trying to get in this text widget:

  Is there something wrong with our blog?

  The sidebars are cached, sometimes up to a half hour, so drag it in, save the widget, and then wait a half hour before you check. Do also title the widget, so you can see if it got put in there but the contents got stripped.

  Thanks for that.

  It turned out to be an issue specific to our blog, and the developers managed to fix it really quickly, so it’s all good now.
