Text Widget not showing up.

  Hello,
  Every time I try and add the Text Widget to my sidebar, it fails to show up when I view my site. I’ve tried refreshing both the widget page and my website, but nothing helps.

  I have followed the instructions from the FAQ to a T.

  Upon re-opening the widget page, the text box disappears from the list of widgets currently in use as well.

  Am I doing something wrong? I’m at a total loss!

  The theme is Blix, by the way.

  Also, there is no html used in my text widget. Just a small introduction, nothing fancy.

  Hi. Are you clicking the “save” button before you navigate away from the widgets page?

  Carli, I’ve had some instances where I had to add a text widget two or three times for it to take. Right before I click save on the widget, I copy all the stuff I put in it just in case it disappears on me. It is much easier to paste back in rather than having to type it out all over again.

  An empty text widget will not show up. You have to put code in it so it has something to display.
