Text Widget Problems

  I am trying to edit the “Text” widget from my dashboard, but when I click the dropdown button to display the text, nothing happens.

  Can you please tell us what browser (and version of) you’re using?

  I use Google Chrome, and I just finished updating it, although I’m not sure exactly what version it is (I think maybe 15?). I also tried updating my wordpress page through Firefox and got the same result.

  Can you please make sure that you currently have JavaScript enabled?

  It should work in Chrome (that is what I use, after all), but I’d like to rule-out a browser-specific issue.

  Would you please try Firefox?

  Are you running any sort of firewall or third-party security app?

  If so, would you mind temporarily disabling those to check?

  I am running on our school network, which has its own security software/filters, but they have never interfered with wordpress before.
