Text widget shortenes html
-
When I copy and paste html codes into the text box, it shortens the code after I save and only part of the picture is showing. Why is it doing this?
ends up like this in box – <img border=”0″ width=”125″ />
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

G’day,
We only provide support on this forum to those who have free blog from and being free hosted by wordpress.COM and the blog linked to your username is not a wordpress.COM blog. Please read this sticky post at the head of the forum https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/please-read-me-first-before-posting?replies=1 and then head over to the correct forum for your software here > http://wordpress.ORG/support/
Best wishes with your blog. :) -
The OP’s username is linked to a wordpress blog (as of now anyway).
If the code you posted in the text widget is exactly the same as here on the forum the problem is caused by missing the closing “quote” after the src attribute. If you want to just include a picture in the sidebar perhaps try the image widget. It is much easier to use and requires no tinkering with HTML.

I think that is the way I will have to go. I will just upload a pic and link it,.
