Text widget text not wrapping

  Hi

  On the home page, RHS widget bar I have created an ad using the text widget. I can’t work out how to word wrap it though.

  Would appreciate any help.

  Also I coloured the background pink but there are still white boxes around the text. I would like this to be pink also.

  If you put ads on a WordPress.com blog, it will be suspended. Take it out.

  If it is your own business, then staff will need to make a judgement call. The problem is, it looks like an ad for a third party. I sell tee shirts that we design but the text widget clearly says they are OURS. I’ll flag this for a staff ruling, so you might as well put it back in so they can check it out.

  Great! I’ve pulled the questions from your original post:

  First, let’s add width: 90% to the text-5 CSS code you’re using right now to pull in that right side of your pink box and border.

  It looks like your text is wrapping. Is this working the way you want it to?

  Now, to figure out why the background of the text boxes is gray instead of pink, I’m going to right click on the text and click on “Inspect Element”.

  In the inspector, I make sure the paragraph of text is selected and I see this in the list of css settings:

  Now, this tells me you’re using pre tags. I think you probably don’t need to be using these tags in your ad, so I would suggest your remove those rather than changing more code to fix this. :)
