TEXT WIDGET wont' display opt-in form
-
Hi All,
I’m trying to get our “opt-in” form to display on our wordpress site. The Opt In form is through Vertical Response, in which I’m provided with an html code to “use” or “copy and paste” into our wordpress blog.
I use the text widget to paste the html code in. When I push “save” it automatically deletes the first part of the html code – which obviously effects the look of the ‘opt in form’ on our blog.
Any suggestions? Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There are code restrictions here and the software strips some codes out to preserve security on this multiuser blogging platform. It appears that Vertical Response is one of the codes we cannot use. http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/
However, you can use a contact form and you can set up email subcriptions for your followers as well.

I looked into your links above, but I’m hoping to find an option where we can receive customer emails. Is there one?

If you post the code you have here in the forum thread between backticks we will tell you exactly why the code is being stripped out. If it’s a form code, Javacript or iframe it will be stripped out. Note: the backtick ` not to be confused with the single quote mark ‘ is located to the left of the number 1 key in lower case under the tilde ~.

All blogs are set up by default to provide for comments on posts and pages. In addition we can use a contact form. /a> I linked to that information above.

Thank you for all of the support above.
As of now, I put our opt-in form on our FB page. I would really like to have a “customer sign up form” on our wordpress blog however. Does anyone have a suggestion?

However, you can use a contact form for that purpose and you can enable email subcriptions for your followers as well.
