I’m trying to add this text on my side bar but won’t work. I tried to find the backtick on my mac keyboard but I can’t find it. I don’t know if the text included javascript or something not allowed. any help? ths is the text:
<center><img src=”http://i585.photobucket.com/albums/ss293/lanik58/Mulitples%20and%20More/button.jpg”/></center>
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Well, it looks like some of it is getting stripped out, so it’s hard to judge. Can you re-post it, but change the pointy brackets to curvy ones like {? That should make it display properly, I think.

Ah, I found the code:
<center><a href="http://www.multiplesandmore.blogspot.com"><img src="http://i585.photobucket.com/albums/ss293/lanik58/Mulitples%20and%20More/button.jpg"/></a></center>That should work just fine, except the Center code. Use this instead:
<p align="center"><a href="http://www.multiplesandmore.blogspot.com"><img src="http://i585.photobucket.com/albums/ss293/lanik58/Mulitples%20and%20More/button.jpg"/></a></p>That should work. Remember to save the stuff you’ve put in the widget, then go to the bottom and Save Updates. It’s a two-step process with text widgets.

Nope..it dosen’t work. I copied and pasted it. I checked and nothing was there. so I checked again in the text window and the src code was gone. I tried again but same thing.

What is that %20 doing in the file name and the / before the word more? Try saving the graphic to your hard drive (do a right-click save) with another name, a simple one-word name, and upload it to your space here.
Pretend you’re writing a post, upload it, center it if you wish, switch to the html tab, copy the code and paste that into the text widget.
-
And add the link in the editor too, by clicking on the uploaded image and using the link tool.
-
The reason they’re there is, there are spaces in the uploaded link. Honestly, it’s their fault! This works anyway; just paaste it into your browser to test.

I don’t think the text widget likes the p tags to align it. Try this:
<a href="http://www.multiplesandmore.blogspot.com"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://i585.photobucket.com/albums/ss293/lanik58/Mulitples%20and%20More/button.jpg" alt="" width="140" height="140" /></a> -
I tried it in a test blog and it stripped it out, with and without the nested XTML button checked.

to open it in a new window so readers don’t wonder off from your blog use this:<a href="http://www.multiplesandmore.blogspot.com" target="_blank"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://i585.photobucket.com/albums/ss293/lanik58/Mulitples%20and%20More/button.jpg" alt="" width="140" height="140" /></a>raincoaster:
Yes, the text widgets sometimes act weird with images and alignment. -
Hello,
I´m still at the very beginning of my blog: http://www.cgjvirtualassist.wordpress.com
I am trying to insert a widget in the right side bar but there seems to be some kind of error. What I see from the blog is this:
if (WIDGETBOX) WIDGETBOX.renderWidget(’68a89cac-6793-4cef-934d-7e8f77074dc5′);Get the CGJ Virtual-Assist widget and many other great free widgets at Widgetbox!
——————————————————————————–This is not the only widget I can´t insert. I wonder if there´s anything I´m doing wrong. I only copy and paste….
Thank you if anyone can help!.
