text widget/pro follow

  i am trying to add code to a text widget and every time i click save the code disappears and it does not appear on the site, so i guess the text is being stripped out. It is just a customised sign up tab, how do i get this through and why would it not be working?

  If the code disappears that’s because it’s being stripped out by wordpress.com software to preserve security on this multi-user blogging platform. As wordpress.com blogs are not fee standing like self hosted wordpress.org software installs are, there are code restrictions on wordpress.com blogs http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/

  Please post the code you are trying to use between backticks so we can examine it and give you a definitive answer. The backtick looks like this ` and it is found on the same key as ~ on your keyboard but in lower case letters.
