  I have added widgets that I’d like to have. I was wondering if there is a way to delete the example picture and text widget paragraph with the customizer link?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  Yes, you may edit or delete contents of the front page widget areas at Customize > Widgets > First Front Page Widget Area, Second Front Page Widget Area, and Third…

  I've made new widgets using the customizer, but the 3 example ones are still on my page. They are above each of the ones I've made. I want to delete them???

  Widgets will not display if they are not present in those widget areas. I don’t have access to your administrative areas, but it is clear that you presently have

  • two widgets in the first front page widget area, the default widget plus “Blogs I Follow,” and
  • two widgets in the second front page area, including the default widget and a Blog Stats widget

  If you can’t see the default widgets, or have trouble removing them, then please add a “modlook” tag to the sidebar of this topic to call for staff attention.
