text widgets and images

  Hello everyone. I don’t know if this was asked before but I did a search on the forum and could not find any response to what I need. I am using Andreas09 2.0 and am trying to post images on the sidebar. I did that in the blogroll and of course the images are coming out with a border around them. I looked for the text widget and thought maybe I could get around this, but it is only posting ‘text’ [duh!] and not accepting code. I want to put the images there without a border and with text written before it. How can I do that?

  Thanks so much. Actually I know html. I think I was doing the widget itself completely wrong. Now it is working fine.
