text within the comment box

hmm, now it seems that if i type within the allotted space of the comment box the text runs away even beyond the margin!
any idea how to edit that?i am eternally grateful for any advice i may get for either of my posted questions,

In comment boxes and such, there will always be margins to keep the text from butting right up against the side. That is good design practice. The is what it should look like on your blog using vigilance when you add text to the comment box.

On your second comment here, http://mademoisellevivianne.wordpress.com/2009/11/14/29/#comments , the line is not wrapping because the software cannot figure out where to break that line. There are no spaces where it can break it. If you post nonsense type stuff like that in posts and comments regularly, you will always have problems like that. If you want to post very long lines of text that run on and on and on, you should know that #3 of the top 10 things people hate is having to scroll horizontally.

oh you mean is the reason it runs on is because of my text test?
i kept waiting for the margin to bump to the next line but you are probably onto something there ;-)
the minute i get home i will test it.
and i completely agree on horizontal scrolling.
not a fan of it myself!had no idea setting up a blog will be so technically challenging but learning something new every day!
dont even want to write till iam more familiar with it.
thank you for your advice!now i just have to find out how to do the colours with CSS and will be a step ahead…
