Text wrap images in RSS (no CSS floats)
-
Okay, I’ve stumbled onto something rather interesting. I’m setting up a mailer campaign for a friend and the service he’s using does not allow editing of the code when you’re using RSS (no idea why).
The issue I’m having, is that the blog is standards complaint, so it’s using CSS to float the images. NATURALLY, some email clients are having issues with this and toss out the float tag and instead of a nice format, I’ve got an ugly inline newsletter.
As I stated, I can’t edit it on the mail campaign side, and I don’t want to recode the entire site (and lose compatibility) because of this one issue. Anyone have any ideas on a good fix or workaround? I’ve googled and searched the forums and codex, but nothing seems to be working.
