text wrapping?

I note from previous posts that lots of people are puzzled by the lack of a text wrapping quick fix in the visual editor. This is such an important feature for web presentation that I urge you to include it with the “insert media” page or to create a Help explanation that doesn’t include pasting in machine code.

The key to this is that the text wraps around the images, thus the images need to be set to the left or right of the page in order for the text to wrap. The text cannot be set to wrap alone.

When you add or edit an image, look to the right column on the selected image in the Media Uploader/Library when on the post. You will see an option to align the image to the right or left, or center (with no text wrapping around the image. Select one of those options to float the image to one side or the other and the text will naturally wrap around the image.

Yes, the alignment is important and should be more visible and obvious to the user. Hopefully they will work on that.

See this article on image alignment for more information. Thanks.
