Thanks for the rainbow
-
I was surprised and touched to see the rainbow at the top of the site yesterday. It’s a big day for me and my family, and it was really nice to see WordPress celebrating with me. Thank you.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I agree, thanks, WordPress.com :)BTW, Pay no attention to the “Taliban” criticism. ;)

Many more of us see nothing to celebrate about, and will be celebrating when WordPress takes the horrid rainbow strip OFF.
My question to Jeremey is WHEN will this rainbow be removed, please? It should never have been foisted upon us in the first place.

Aren’t you going to close this one, too, jeremeylduvall?
It’s on EXACTLY the same topic as all the ones you closed – the one exception being that it agrees instead of disagrees with the premise of forcing Gay Pride on those who didn’t ask for it.
Double standards and hypocrisy don’t usually come as blatantly as this, so well done for such a milestone, Jeremey.
Remember: dozens of people have objected, but so far only one – one with a vested and political interest in the ideology being forced on us – has concurred.

I forgot to mention on another thread (now closed). I am UK, hence I have nothing to do with American politics/law. Please remove the Rainbow banner from my blog. With respect this is an American issue. I feel like I have been invaded.
This thread has not been closed. Why?

I have backed up my blog, as a precaution against reprisals.
The rainbow people are pretty notorious the world over for their extreme intolerance of anybody who does not offer them unqualified adulation. Their hate speech towards those who disapprove of their political cause is extreme. If WordPress is now sucking up to them, shutting down every thread complaining about this, and point blank refusing to tell us how to get rid of the rainbow, or when WordPress is going to stop imposing it upon the rest of us, etcetera, then I think we can expect WordPress to become even more illiberal towards dissenters in the future.
Back up your blogs, folks. It is no longer safe to trust WordPress, judging by what usually happens when a corporation comes down on the “rainbow” side of this debate. These people take no prisoners. Silencing all opposition is their agenda. You have been warned!

I’ll be closing this thread as well. As mentioned in countless other threads, the banner is temporary. It will eventually be removed. If you would like, you can remove it temporarily using the method discussed here:
