The email address associated with this account was deleted by google. I want to change the email address, but the form says that it will send an email to the old address and wait for a confirmation before changing. Is there any other way to fix this?

Do you still have the account’s API Key? This was included in your welcome email with a note to keep it safe.
We can’t alter the account without access to the registered email address or API Key.

As a matter of fact, I do have the original API key. Back then, I forwarded all email to the account I now use, so I have that. I’m not sure why I didn’t use my newer email address. Is there any way to link the blog to an email address that I’ve used to make other wordpress blogs or should I create a new email address for this? Thanks for the support!

@diaryofdaniel
In order to help you get access to your blog Staff need one of the following things in order to correctly identify you as the blog owner:1. an email sent to support@wordpress.com from the email address associated with the account or revealing what that associated email address was
2. the wordpress.com API key for your account. This was included in your welcome email with a note to keep it safe. Please do not post the API key here. You can send it to the email address I posted above
3. if you have purchased any upgrades for the blog a transaction number send it to the email address I posted above.

I have sent an email to the address on your current account to request the API key.
Please reply to the email when convenient.
