the “about” button disappeared in my blog

  I was editing my information under the “about” button and it disappeared. Now the “About” button does not appear when I log into my account (there is just empty space where the word used to show up). I tried everything and can’t figure out how to make the button appear again! Please help! thank you so much! :)

  I believe the “About” button you describe is actually link to a page. I believe the solution is to create and About page and the clickable link to it will appear again in your sidebar. This will help you http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/11/11/a-post-and-a-page/
