The actual name of my site won't show up on search enginge results
-
When my site shows up in search enginge results, it seems the tagline shows up but not the actual name of the site.
Now, I updated the tagline in the ‘General Settings’ to include the name of the site just yesterday, yet it still shows up with the descriptor and not the name of the site.
Any suggestions?

Google isn’t instant. It takes time and it takes posts. The more posts you make with an optimized website (like, by filling in the tagline and name, and using tags and categories properly) the faster you will teach Google.

ALso, you have ONE post. And a bunch of static pages. If you really want significance in search engine results, forget static pages and start blogging : make POSTS.
-
Also, who knows the mind of the g00g? The continuously confound and confuse me and leave me shaking my head.

I’m not talking about significance. I’m talking about the actual title of the page when it does show up. Somewhere in WP, I must be misssing the proper setting of the title of the site.
And I actually have a blog with 10 posts in 4 weeks and a bunch of static pages.
