The admin invitation email is not arriving

    The invitation email to add a new user as an administrator has been sent multiple times, but the email has not arrived to the user. The new user’s email spam folder has been checked, but no admin invitation email has been found. Is there any fix to this issue? Thanks!

  • Hi there. If the user in question uses Gmail the invitation might also be in the social tab of their inbox.

    If that’s not the case either let us know.

    Thanks for the response! Unfortunately, the user who should be receiving the admin invite email definitely is not using Gmail, so I don’t think that’s what is causing the problem.

    Hi there,

    I just checked our email logs and we have successfully sent 3 emails (2 – 7 days ago and 1 – 5 days ago) regarding the administrator invite to the user: pshomeipr.

    Please have the user check their filters and whitelist all emails from *wordpress.com. If it is whitelisted the user will have to contact their email client. The email has been accepted by the client, but I’m not able to see why it isn’t showing up in their email.

    Just in case, I have resent the email.
