The ads on the blogs

I can understand this of course you host these blogs for free, and the ads at the bottom of the post doesn’t bother me at all (well the text ones does), but the one that turns up at the bottom of the short sticky post at the top of the front page bother me. Particularly as it is often a text ad and all those look really bad. They are disorgenized and full of different font sizes and have no frame to keep them together. I have used google ads myself earlier on other sites and I must say they looked a lot better. So I whish you would consider keeping the ads off the top of the front pages.
I have been very satisfied with the wordpress.com system so far and use the wordpress.org system for several of my costumers and are so satisfied that I will continue doing so (http://www.brandworks.no/blog/?cat=9 , http://www.framtidensbyer2010.no/ ) But if the first thing that will hit my visitors in the face as they reach my blog is those ugly text ads I must admitt that a lot of the fun with blogging is gone.

If you are referring to this blog http://retrorambling.wordpress.com/ then the advertsisng can be removed if you purchase and No-Ads Upgrade. http://en.support.wordpress.com/no-ads/P.S. Over 40% of those surfing the interent are using Firefox browsers aith AdBlock Plus and we don’t see the ads.

I know that Firefox has a AdBlock and Opera that is my standard browser has a similar system, but it is not myself I’m thinking about primarely but my visitors ;-)

The might see ads if they come in from a search engine, but only occasionally. If you don’t want them to see them at all, then you can get the no ads upgrade as @timethief says.
