The appearance of my blog

    I have made three or four postings. I have *not* been able to get rid of the large black element with widget instructions. The ‘new and improved’ wordpress is not nearly as useful as the original version. How do I get rid of that big black block that takes up about a third of the screen? Take a look at the blog, brinson1blog.wordpress.com and you’ll see the problem. It’s ridiculous.
