The 'apperance' button and others have disappeared from my dashboard menu.

  I started a new wordpress account a few weeks ago. I downloaded one theme and then went to a conference. Upon my return, when I log in, appearance as well as several other buttons are missing from my dashboard menu. How do I get these back?

  When all is said and done it will be http://www.fawcasson.com, but I never even got past picking a theme before I could no longer get into appearances, user, tools, settings, etc. Could this be because of the upgraded dashboard? I’m using IE8, but it looks a lot like the screenshot of what I read would happen to IE6 users. I only have Dashboard: Blog Surfer, My Comments, Readomatic, Tag Surfer, Site Stats, My Blogs, My Subscriptions and Profile: My Profile and Personal Settings.

  From the above I gather that the site will not be hosted here o WordPress.com, is that correct?

  If so, and to clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities.
