The Argent theme: Header image / featured images for pages

  Hi,

  my site is still private as it’s not ready for publishing, but I am using the Argent theme and I’d love to know the ideal measurements for
  1) header image
  2) featured images for pages and portfolio project pages

  Measurements for featured images for posts I have found, but not for header image and pages. Nothing I have tried this far has worked as I’d like to, some of the edges will always be zoomed out. So exact measurements would be very much appreciated.

  The recommended size for a custom header in Argent is 2000 × 380 pixels. While this is the recommended size, the image may not be displayed in full, so an image that’s flexible in its appearance is recommended so it can withstand cropping on various screen sizes.

  The featured image on portfolio projects is displayed at 310 by 250. You could upload an image at twice that size (620 by 500) to ensure that it looks good on retina and other high-res devices.
