the authors have deleted this site? i did not delete this site?

  logged into my account and it says “santinamichelle.wordpress.com is no longer available. The authors have deleted this site.”
  …i thought i was the author and i didn’t delete it?
  it has been over a year since i have logged in does this have something to do with it?

  and if i try to create a new site with this name it says “Sorry, that site already exists!”
  no it doesn’t!!!!!!!

  The length of time is not a factor. WordPress.com Staff does not delete inactive blogs. Staff have records of who did what under which username and login information and when they did it. I flagged this thread for a Staff follow-up. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond. To subscribe look in the sidebar of this thread, find the subscribe to topics link and click it. Note that there is a backlog and be patient while waiting.

  I am sorry but you cannot claim a deleted blog URL. No one can use a deleted blog URL regardless of who registered it. Deleted blog URLs are not recycled here and you can confirm by reading:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/delete-blog/
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

  However, you can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  Or you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.

  @santinamichelle,

  You were the creator and owner of santinamichelle.wordpress.com but that blog was deleted in March 2014.

  I’m sorry, but deleted blogs cannot be restored or reused. Deleting a blog is permanent and the name cannot be used again.

  There are several warnings about this on the Tools -> Delete Site page and in the help pages, and you are required to confirm the deletion by email.
