the banner dissappeared in my Adele theme

  the banner at the top of my page looks hidden, and partially disappeared somehow (it is dark gray and you can only see the ends sticking out, whereas before you could see the whole thing & the menu options it contained, like the link to my ‘about’ page, etc….)
