The Case of the Vanishing Widget

  I went to edit a legacy blogroll widget and WP switched it to block and eliminated it. The info’s still there, but the widget is gone. I’m on a free plan, so I can’t use the Classic Widgets plugin. The AI tells me I either have to upgrade to Business or recreate the widget from scratch. Anyone have a better suggestion?
