The color on my uploaded banner image is faded.

  My uploaded banner image has decreased opacity. The image looks like it is faded. How do I correct this?

  The effect is apparently due to background shade. On the similar theme Harmonic, background shade is an option of the five sections of the Front Page Template, which you can enable or disable at Customize > Theme > sections 1,2,3,4,5. However, I haven’t been able to determine how to toggle the shade on the Intergalactic theme, or if you can.

  If you are still looking for help, try adding the following to your CSS style sheet.

  .header-background {
  	opacity: 1;
  }

  That should remove the faded appearance for you.
