The consequences of the latest WordPress update

  • Unknown's avatar

Hello, I’m Igor Tsaritsyn, the owner of https://www.tsaritsyn-tours.com/ (the provider is ipage). I use Twenty Eleven Child theme. After the last update of WordPress several days ago, my custom.css probably stopped working. And I again see these fat clumsy fonts and huge spaces in my site header I conquered many years ago. Could you please recommend something to run my custom.css again or to change it to see my customization? Thanks a lot. Igor

  • Hi Igor, sorry to hear it! The site isn’t hosted here on our services, but you might check with your host about restoring a backup first. Once you’ve got that, you can move forward with re-updating it. If you had several updates all at once, try doing them one at a time. Your child theme should not be affected if it was a true child theme:

Going forward, these forums are actually for the sites hosted here on our servers, but there is another forum for the free WordPress software. You can find that here:

    Hoping this helps!
