The Content Area Was Not Found in Your Page

Iam working on a child theme of Bizcorp theme. I created the directory with header.php, functions.php, index.php and the style.css files. i also tried adding <?php the_content(); ?> in functions.php and index.php but still am not able to use elementor and it gives the error “The Content Area Was Not Found in Your Page”. Placing this in header.php works and takes me to elemtor but the workspace is right above the header which is not helping as i need the workspace bwlow the header. Please kindly help. Great Thanks in Advance.
