The custom design upgrade changed the appearance of my blog

I purchased the custom design upgrade and the only thing I changed so far was the background color. And now I noticed that my blog looks different! The right sidebar with all the wickets is gone, they’re all now at the bottom, my blog posts have a bigger width, my thumbnail photo is gone…
    Help!

Hi there, I took a look at your site and I see the sidebar. Duet is a responsive theme that adjusts for browser window and device width, clear down to smartphones so that your content is always presented clearly for readers on any screen size. On narrower screens, the sidebar will move to the bottom of the screen (screen widths less than 900px) so that the content is more easily read. Try widening your browser window and see if the sidebar does not come back up to the right of the content.

    Alright.
The thing is, though, that I looked at my site with the same computer I always do, the browser window was exactly the same size as always, yet all of a sudden, after I had changed the background color (and the fonts), it changed so that now the width of my blog posts is bigger, font size is smaller and the alignment of some photos is different, too.

Custom Fonts are not all the same size and although the software here tries hard to keep things looking the same size, sometimes you may have to adjust the size of the custom font so that it looks the way you want it to. You can adjust the custom font sizes as explained here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/custom-fonts/#adjusting-font-size-and-style .

Can you point to a place where the photo alignment has changed?
