The customized theme, changed automatically to basic.

Hello,
I haven’t logged in my blog for a couple of months. When I logged in today, I realized surprisingly that the chosen theme, which I had modified/customized after a lot of effort, has changed automatically to the primal format of the designer.
That means the membership to the css customization has expired? If so, isn’t any kind of information (by email) by the Worpress that you have have to renew your membership?
Is it possible to recover the customized/modified theme or do I have to design it from the beggining?

Yes, there is a notification. It is usually displayed at the top of your dashboard when you log in. You cannot miss it, if you log in regularly, since it starts displaying one month before the expiration date. There is no email. And yes, you do have to start all over again.

i have a basic question regarding changing theme, since i’m a beginner, i still dont quite understand how to change the theme out of provided in the wordpress.
can i be explained?..
