The customizer won't change font color

  Though it worked a couple of days ago, now I can’t get the customizer to change the font color. I have the full custom design package. This site has to be ready by tomorrow. HELP!

  I meant to say TEXT color. My custom theme, Caldwell, gives me three color customization choices – background, text, and main accent. The background and main accent selectors work, but while the text selector circle changes in the customizer, it doesn’t change on the page.

  Hi Alan.

  I’m currently seeing your text colour is set to a darkish green, #5d5d4f, in the Customizer and I’m seeing this reflected on your theme. Could you try changing this in the Customizer again and then linking me to specific pages or pieces of text that don’t change? Remember to Save & Publish after making the change. I’ll then be able to dig deeper into this. Thanks!

  Thank you, but I found a workaround. I had to tweak the background color until it would accept a darker font. You can consider the issue resolved.

  I’m glad to hear that it’s resolved now! :) You’re right that some themes automatically adjust text colour so that there’s always a certain amount of contrast between the text and the background.
