The dates have disappeared from my ‘Recent Posts’
-
These are the ones under ‘Recent Posts’ (in the side-bar) to the right of each post title.
No doubt it’s something i did, but i’ve gone through all the settings & cannot figure it out. Also no luck on the forums about how to reactivate the dates on posts.
How do I make them show up again?
Thanks in advance,

I don’t think it’s something you did. From the variety of posts on this issue in the forum today, I think staff are tinkering. By all means contact them and report this effect; use the Support button on your Dashboard.

The default sidebar for the Cutline theme uses the dates for the Recent Posts section. But once you customize widgets from Design->Widgets the default sidebar is no longer used. Our Recent Posts widget does not display the dates.

Ahhh… Well, that’s too bad. :o(
Is there a way to go back to the default Widgets?
And are there any plans to add the date function to customized widgets?
(It would be really nice, so readers can see it w/o having to open each post.)Thanks,

If you remove all of the widgets you have added at Design->Widgets, your blog will use the default sidebar again.
There is nothing planned right now, but that’s not to say we won’t add an option at some point.
