The depresive mood of the header image in 'ixion' theme

  Hi
  I would like to ask something that sounds quite foolish but really bothers me …
  I ‘m using the ‘ixion’ theme. I selected an image as ‘header image’, that was published a little bit modified … much more dark.
  I would be thankful if I could find a way to cope with that disturbing ‘habit’ of the ‘header image’ tool to alter my images
  For a wolrd with brighter colours :P :D :D :D

  Hi @kakotereniesathivoles!

  The header image in Ixion has an overlay because the site tagline is normally displayed on top of it.

  The overlay darkens the image so the text doesn’t get washed out :)

  If you need to remove the overlay you would need to use Custom CSS, which is part of a Premium Plan or Business Plan.

  With CSS access, this snippet would remove the overlay of the image:

  .header-overlay:before {
      display: none;
  }
