  Hello, I want to connect my own domain to wordpress and I am getting that warning first.

  Then when I click to ”Learn how.” it takes me same steps where I came from. How can I connect my domain to wp without transferring?

  So you want a site here rather than at GoDaddy? It would have been so much simpler if you’d purchased your domain right here. As it is select mapping rather than transfer. You can transfer the domain when the 60 day lock is lifted.

  Yes, I want to use wp panel with the domain which i bought from GoDaddy. Must I wait for 2 months. I bought the domain today.

  We have two options for that:

  Mapping allows you to keep the domain registered with your current domain registrar and direct it to your WordPress.com site: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/map-existing-domain/

  A transfer would allow to manage both your site and domain from the same place: https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/incoming-domain-transfer/

  If the domain is currently under a transfer lock, you can safely just map it for now.
