The domain I want is available but WordPress wont let me use it?

  Nobody has the domain I would like to use, but if I type it in on signing up, WordPress says it’s taken?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  What is the URL?

  Are you referring to a URL someone else has already registered?

  Note that in these cases the blog’s owner rarely responds to comments or to contact information and there is no expiration date on .wordpress.com blogs unused, reserved or otherwise.

  Moreover, Staff will not breach the privacy policy and provide you with an email address.

  If there is no response you can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.

  Deleted wordpress.COM blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and the only exceptions are made are for URLs that were deleted 2 or more years ago. http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

  Thanks for answering, I meant URL, sorry.

  OK this means someone has deleted this URL and I could wait up to two years for it to become available?
