‘the domain is already mapped to a wordpress site’

  Hi,I’m getting this error re my domain name seviskalerisphotography.com. I had someone else working on my website but they didnt get far at all so I’m trying to take over but cant seem to go through the initial process to even connect my domain to wordpress bc i get this error. Can you please tell me how I fix it?

  Hello,

  It’s working when I load it in my browser. Can you try to clear your cached and cookies and get a new browser then try to load it again.

  I dont understand should I be able to see it under “my site”? It’s definitely not there for me

  Hi there,

  That domain is already connected to a site that belongs to another account, yes, so you will not be able to add a domain mapping for it unless the other account cancels their domain mapping upgrade.

  If that’s the person who has been working on your site you can also ask them to just transfer the site to you. That will transfer all the upgrades to you as well, including the domain mapping:
