  I am trying to link my domain (nmccesi.com) to my new site on wix. The wordpress account I was using was about to expire at the end of the month so I just opted to not renew- however if I try to link the domain to the wordpress site again, I get “This domain is already mapped to a WordPress.com site.”

  Do I have to wait for the account to expire before I can use the domain on Wix?

  The only requirement is that your domain is at least 60 days old before you can transfer it.
