the draft contact form, in preview, is for ME to send another blogger a contact

I have watched the video twice and tried to make a very simple “Contact Me” form to add to a post or a page. I don’t need to change the basic template at all. I have checked “private” for now as i am still building the blog. When I preview this form, it fills in my name, my email address (which I do not want to disclose to the public), etc. As if it’s for me to use if I want to contact another WordPress blogger. How do i change this so that all fields are BLANK – i.e., for the person reading my blog to contact me without knowing my personal email address? I do not see that this is explained anywhere. thank you

The reason all of your fields are filled in with your information is because you’re the one viewing the contact form. For example, if a visitor to your site viewed your contact form, their information would be inserted into the text boxes or it would appear blank, depending on whether or not they had filled in information on WordPress before. It’s kind of like your browser’s way of making it easier for you to fill out forms online :)

I hope this clarifies things! If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
