The Edit Button on my Blog

OK – I have posted a page on my Blog. Now I see there is a “edit” button and if I click on it I can edit the page. Can anyone visiting my site edit my Page????????????????????

The Admin [edit] link is only for your convenience and the convenience of your Editors, if you have any. And only you and your editors can see it and use it while you are logged in to WordPress.com. Log out, clear your browser cache and cookies and without logging in visit your blog to see that your details will not be there.

More on autofilled information:
When someone makes a comment on your blog, or submits a contact form, unless they have cleared their cookies, WordPress.com will recognize them and complete the details for them. No one else will be able to view those details in comment boxes or in contact forms. The next person who comments will see blank fields. Commenters will not see each others details. -
Well, when one who is half way computer literate, Word Press does not make it easy to find one’s way around the block. You should not take offense to my frustrations!

I have answered questions here for over 7 years and that’s longer than most support staff have even been on staff. I have dealt many SHOUTING! bloggers and excessive punctuation bloggers!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and I correct them all so they don’t keep it up.

Nothing personal – I am new to the site and I had looked and I am new to setting up a new site. I am sorry that you have had such a bad experience for the last 7 years. Maybe you might be suffering from burn out or know your job so well that you forget that some are new and trying like the devil to figure it out themselves without having to ask. I have a blog with my local newspaper, but I have no experience with something like this web site and it was rated number 1. Guess I should have figured it would take a while for a learning curve.
