So you can replace the photo of your choice in the widget and the URL into the CSS and have falling pumpkins or leaves? Cool
-
I already have leaves that I made + stars + glitter + fireworks… making more stuff when I get a moment.
-
Thank you. I will try that and I never believed in your line of work until my Mom passed and my sister had an encounter with someone like you…don’t want to say much here..but thank you for the ideas… WordPress support is very good.

I have the theme Loadstar I think. All I want to know is how do I get snow falling or other things like pumpkins, apples, fireworks to go off and etc… What do I need to do? All your giving me is the link to posts not steps on how this is done which is what I want. Also I asked previously is this still free? no answer. Please help.

I do not work for WordPress.
(I have starred in a few television series.)
I just have a WP blog site. But to answer your question – you must upgrade to Premium or Business for this CSS coding to actually work on your site. Look at plans to see the cost.
I found my own images, then placed them in transparent backgrounds, resized them so they would work in “falling” application.

Daisy..I don’t work for WP either, but Carla is correct. You need a premium or business paid account not a free account in order to be able to add code into your theme. There is no snow for free, non-paid WP accounts this year sadly. Do you have a paid account? If so you can chat with a WP tech on a work day and they can help you. If it is a free account, there is no snow.

Thanks. To bad the other snow’s gone that could be used on a free site. Thanks everyone for your help and I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a safe, healthy and prosperous New Year.

Hi Carla
Your snow looks amazing. I don’t suppose you can share your image for it and the code? I have a Premium plan for one of my many WordPress.com blogs, and also would LOVE to have the falling snow!
I do understand that the WordPress staff were too busy etc. to make it available this year, let’s give them the benefit of the doubt and all these expressions of disappointment may very well mean they will implement the “falling snow” next Christmas!

The code was uploaded by the Happiness Engineers.
My current snow image is in my files. If you wish to have it, email me thru my website. https://carlabaron.net

It is my own snow image, but you still need to purchase the Premium or Business plan, Daisy. Otherwise – the css will not work.
