The FAQ

Podz, I have on my todo list for this weekend a run thru on the widgets as I’m planning on rolling this out to my hosting clients. Would you folks like copies of these? I’m planning on including pics like the Image Upload FAQ so I don’t know how you want to handle this.
I was planning on holding off until the next WP release but I think I’ll just go ahead and do it now.

“How can I edit the “Home” link in the list of my pages?” Seems to be coming up a lot lately.
-
Does this ‘Home’ link only happen in certain themes? I can’t get it appear on my testblog.
-
Two more I can’t see from a quick glance through the FAQ index:
1. Adding more authors to a blog.
2. Creating multiple blogs.I can write something if you want me to. :)
-
cornell – don’t be shy :)
(No-one should feel they have to, but if you do want to, go for it!)
-
Something I have NEVER been accused of is being shy! ;o)
I will try and write something in the next couple of days, bit busy right now…

Not sure if this is a FAQ but I see in this thread http://wordpress.com/forums/topic.php?id=807#post-4098 that someone asked about Clustrmap.
Wonder if worth included in FAQ that you can install Clustrmap to your sidebar with the Text Widget?
-
How about a Widgets section in the FAQ?
– I will get around to this. I’m really busy today – for a change :)

Podz:
Is there any chance that you could change the link to me in the FAQ (from the site index question) from my old WP.com blog here to my new self-hosted one? I keep getting people coming from the FAQ to my now empty blog here. I’ll probably be deleting that one eventually to clear up any confusion. Thanks.

Podz, I should go and find it but maybe we should add in those examples of mine and Matt’s to the javascript question of how other sites have been hacked.
-
Podz, we need to change the answer on the Sitemeter one as it appears that we no longer allow images to be used within links. To use sitemeter, you now have to add it in as a text widget.

I’m digging some out…. but here’s a curiosity.
The Washington Post link is dead and a search for ‘livejournal’ is blank for that event.
Wikipedia for LJ AND MySpace make no mention of the attacks they had.
So they obviously cannot have happened. At all ;)
